4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We share Google user data with the following third parties:

• AI Service Providers: Student responses from Google Forms are shared with third-party artificial intelligence providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, and OpenRouter) solely for the purpose of processing and grading student work. These providers process the data according to their own privacy policies.
• Google: We access your Google Forms data through Google APIs in order to retrieve student responses for grading. This data is transmitted directly to our AI service providers and is not stored on our servers.

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose Google user data to any other third parties. We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes.

Aside from the AI processing described above, we do not transfer or disclose Google user data to any other parties except:

• As required by law or legal process
• To protect our rights, property, or safety
• With your explicit consent

5. Third-Party AI Providers

Teecher uses artificial intelligence services provided by third-party companies including Anthropic, OpenAI, and OpenRouter. When you use our grading features, student responses from Google Forms are transmitted to these AI providers for processing. While we do not store student responses, these third-party providers will process the data according to their own privacy policies.

6. FERPA Compliance

We understand the importance of protecting student educational records under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). When teachers use Teecher to grade student work, student responses are processed but not stored by our Service. Teachers remain responsible for ensuring their use of the Service complies with FERPA and other applicable educational privacy laws.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain email addresses and usage data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We do not retain student response data as it is not stored by our Service.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Object to processing of your information
• Request data portability

10. Children's Privacy

Teecher is designed for use by teachers and educators, not by students directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
